Even though his birthday is listed online both November 11 and November 12, he generally recognizes the 11th even though his birth certificate says the 12th. His driver’s licence and mugshots generally said the 11th, probably because that was the birth date Manson supplied.
Charles Manson was born November 12, 1934, at 4:40 p.m., Cincinnati General Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to Colonel Walker Scott and Kathleen Maddox. He was not born “No Name Maddox,” his mother explained that she wanted to wait for his grandmother to arrive in Cincinnati before he was officially named, in which he was named after his grandfather Charles Milles Maddox. The birth certificate filed had his full name Charles Milles Maddox, not No Name Maddox as Vincent Bugliosi has said over the years.
